Naabil Khan

Naabil Khan, a fourth-year medical student at the University of Exeter, stands out as a passionate advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion within healthcare and medical education. She is the voice behind the "Very Junior Doctors" podcast and the creator of "Skin For All," a pioneering educational website that addresses the lack of representation in dermatological resources by showcasing skin conditions across diverse skin tones. Naabil also founded the "Future Dr." newsletter to make medical opportunities more accessible for students, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds.

Her activism has reached both local and national platforms, as she has spoken at prestigious events including the British Medical Association Student Conference and TEDxNHS in London. Her presentations on decolonizing healthcare and addressing racial inequities in medical education have captivated audiences, highlighting her dedication to transforming the field. Recognized for her impact, Naabil was a finalist for the Bright Network Impact Awards and received the 2023 BMBS Citizenship Award and the American Medical Students Association’s 2024 Racial Justice in Medicine prize.

Naabil’s efforts have garnered high praise from academics, journalists, and medical professionals. Her work continues to inspire meaningful changes in how healthcare education addresses representation and inclusivity.
