Kendra-Jean Nwamadi is a medical doctor and co-founder of Communect, a community engagement agency that has helped NHS organisations and global market research companies to increase representation of under-represented groups in health and care research.
She also served as a board member of Youthwise at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) where she advocated for the voices of young people in health and education policy on a global platform. She is passionate about increasing the role of community health services in order to reduce health inequalities. She promoted this ideology as a Future Thinker of the Bevan Commission and member of Cardiff and the Vale Health Board Future Generations group.
